All Anderson Ford Motorsports 4.6L two valve camshafts are done on light weight/gun drilled billet cores
which improve acceleration and horsepower.
After nine months of designing and testing cam profiles for the 4.6 modular engines, AFM now offers two series of camshafts for these motors.
The new Hi-Intensity series of camshafts for up to 6400 rpm and the infamous Hi-Rev series of camshafts. The Hi-Rev series camshafts with AFM valve springs will rev as high as 7600 rpm using the stock Ford hydraulic lash adjusters without lifter float.

|Hi-Intensity Camshaft 6200 RPMS/C 8-13 lb. 4.6L Best performer up to 6200 rpm. Nice idle, good driveability down to 1800 rpm, performance range 2400-6200 rpm. Recommend AFM valve spring kit but stock valve springs will work. Works best with 80mm mass air, 70mm throttle body and TFS or Dragon Plenum. Headers and ported P.I. heads are suggested.
Gears 3.27 to 4.10. With automatic transmisison needs 2800-3000 converter.|
